N/a’an ku sê wildlife sanctuary (3.500 ha) and wildlife reserve (10.000 ha). First Clever Cub school. Wildlife and education volunteers work here to maintain the endangered wildlife species and to give San Bushman children a better perspective through education.
In 2006, health care entrepreneur Dr. Rudie van Vuuren and his wife Marlice started the N/a’an ku sê foundation. From the first location, close to the airport in Windhoek where a 5-star lodge was built. The first revenues were used to build a hospital in Epikuro and to open the first Clever Cubs School.
In 2014 the volunteer quarters were renewed and new enclosures were built for the endangered species.
Also new green houses were erected where vegetables will be grown.
